I hope this is the right place to post this, but I couldn't see anywhere else.
As a new Wix user, I've created a beer-related site in the ADI editor, and found it really easy to use and get it up and running. However, I'd really like to use some of the things that are only available in the advance editor, especially daft wee things like the android and ios homescreen icons.
I've cloned my ADI site and migrated it to the AE, but in doing so I seem to have lost a ton of great features. The nicely formatted list of beers, their ABV and their styles seems to have been converted from a powerful database-driven section to static content, and none of the things I can add to a page in AE replicate it. Repeaters comes pretty close, but has pretty limited formatting options. For example, I can't alternate graphic on left/text on right and text on left/graphic on right.
Is this my choice - some great easy-to-use sections but crazy omissions like custom meta data, or custom meta data but no pre-built sections as per the ADI offering?
Maybe I'm missing something :)
Thanks in advance,
