Hello, currently I have built a website for our company using Muse, and hosted by Go Daddy. With Muse being phased out, I know its time to look into other options. I have created a website years ago, from html coding, but prefer the friendlier drag and drop user interface, and our company doesn't really have the time or money to relearn coding for just this site. My current plan of action, is to start rebuilding our site with WIX as time permits under the free plan. Then once the website is ready, I plan to convert to the premium plan to use our own domain. Does anyone here see any problems with this plan? I want to avoid future surprises. I don't believe we really need anything other than what WIX offers. I realize I will be giving up some design flexibility. Is WIX secure? Currently, I've had to add a Security Pkg to my GoDaddy site, because of an SEO bot infecting the site. Right now they are suggesting we add the Secure Site Certificate at another premium cost. Is all of this included in WIX? It seems right now that the biggest down fall to WIX is that I am unable to find a phone number so I can actually call and talk to someone there.

Yep, you should be fine. Wix sites have SSL by default.
If you want to speak to someone at Wix, use the contact form and request a callback.
