I'd like to start my own website; but I'm worried about the amount of freedom given to actually create page layouts.
For example, I want my logo to sit at the top left corner of every webpage, with the navigation below on the left side, and the top to feature artwork of some self-published work of mine with an external link to the products (the products are purchaseable on a different website).
So my layout is quite basic; but am I able to use Wix to create this, or am I forced to use templates and themes that can represent nothing to what I just described in the above paragraph?
I had a free, unpublished, Wordpress website; but I was left with my logo in the mid-top of the home page, withiut being able to move it to the top left corner, nor could I put the navigation menu below on the left hand side. It doesn't even seem like paying for Wordpress will solve this problem.
However, Wix looks more professional, and it's cheaper to buy over Wordpress. It looks like it has a lot of promise for me and my dilemma, but I want to confirm whether I can create my own webpages with complete freedom to move them about wherever I want? Like drawing on a blank canvas.
Or if not, it'll just be as useless to me as renting/buying a fully-furnished habitat where all the furniture(s) are nailed and superglued to the floor. Sure, you can dye the furniture in different colours, but if you don't want your bed positioned in the Feng-Shui death position...R.I.P.
R.I.P to WordPress and Wix as well.
