How can I add custom emoticons to my forum?

I am looking for the way to add custom emoticon images to the forum, but am having trouble finding it.  How can I do this?

Hi, you can't really do that. You could only use them as images or if they are unicode you can use them in text.Can you gives us more details what would you like to achieve?

Is there really no plan to add custom emojis EVER? I have been tracking the history of this issue and it all leads to dead ends. It is really unfortunate, as the otherwise robust forum feels a little hollow without the community flair of custom emojis. It really is a standard feature on most forums and community platforms at this point...

I would like to have a button that users can press (such as the one on this site by joypixels) which will drop images that I and other staff had added, preferably also with traditional shorthand codes like :smiling: etc.  I'm in the process of transitioning forum users from an old site to a wix forum, and our previous forums have had this this type of function for about 20 years on various forum platforms, so I find it surprising to say the least that it's not present.
