When I share a blog post on Facebook for example, it automatically includes the picture in the post. But when I share a forum post the picture is not included. Is there a setting I can change to include the picture?

How do I include pictures when sharing forum posts?

Hi. The image should get included automatically without extra steps. If it's not included there might be an issue on our end. Can you share a link to your forum post? Either here or you can email me directly at lukask@wix.com. We'll check it out.
Thank you Lukas. I shared two separate forums posts and one of them showed the image and the other did not. I don't know what is different but I may have set something up differently, I'm new to all this, but I'm learning. Here's the link https://www.dlbray.com/forum/reflections/haunted-halls and thanks for the help! Just getting this website started and hoping to eventually get some good discussions going in the forum area.
Sorry for the late response, but it seems that the image you used is just too small for Facebook so it defaulted to the other image. They require an image of at least 200px by 200px.
Hi. I am having issues sharing from my forum as well. Sometimes it works and other times it does not. I am getting the photo to appear, but the title of the post is getting replaced by the url of the site. It used to show the photo, post title and short snip it from the post. Photo Attached.
Then when I try to share just the main url to social media the photo that appears is an old cached photo. I have tried the facebook debugger with no luck.
Hi. I used the Facebook debugger with the URL from your screenshot and the image seems to be correct. About the title - currently the page SEO settings in editor override forum post title. To fix this issue for now you can delete this field (it will automatically reset to default). After publishing your site the title should be as expected on Facebook.
We'll be working on a more user friendly solution though. Hope this helps.
