How to specify web site title that is longer than 20 characters?

I want to include my company name in the web site title, but the web site builder does not let me because it's over 20 characters long. I cannot really abbreviate it because it random letter would make no sense, and I suspect it's not good for SEO. Are there any workarounds? Why a 20 character limit? Thanks.
