Multi currency frustration

Hi - I have a site shop (Japan based) connected to Paypal (Japan). When customers buy within Japan (using the button Paypal Checkout), they get a blank white screen, where other countries connect to Paypal successful.

I dont know where to look. Wix or Paypal issue.

Does anyone else experienced this type of issue or ideas for me to look? thx

Thanks Scott, Looking into it more, the Paypal pay button appears to be on the Paypal side of the API. Im reaching out to Paypal to see if there is something special about purchasing from Japan I need to know.
