Remote Database Updates and Query

Hi all,

Does Wix offer API request services to post or get information from databases? Specifically, I want to be able to query specific data from a python program I've created and also remotely update and add data through the program. I then want to define certain data points to be viewable online for specific customer logins.

If so, can someone point me in the direction of documentation?
