I don't know whether anyone has raised this issue yet, but the sign-up page really needs some improvement and to allow customisation.
Currently all you can get on the sign-up page is email address and password.
This is not enough, because you can elect to either have automatic approval or administrator approval of all sign-ups.
What is the point of having approval when all you have to go on is an email address. I need more information to determine whether someone is eligible to join my site.
For my business I need to be able to customise the sign-up page; for instance:
- Name
- Phone number
- Location
- Age
- Why you want to join.
A lot of other website builders offer this feature; can you please add this soon?
Yes, i agree. I would like members to be able to choose their username. I know they have the name option to complete but that is different than a forum username
@j.redinkedit This would be perfect for collecting more useful information for use around the site. This feature should be optional, as some people would benefit from it, while others wouldn't. Let's hope this gets a priority in Wix's update plans, as it has been requested several times before.
