changes would involve interface design updates and most importantly - content updates.
Currently, Wix Forum application forum provides:
- General discussions category for sharing your questions / insights / issues / ideas regarding
the Forum app.
- Wix Forum updates category for us introducing new product features.
- Wishlist category for listening to your needs/ limitations/ feature requests for your Wix Forum.
Let us know is there anything else that could be super helpful provided/ shared in this Wix Forum community forum?

Better search feature
Hi, could you specify what is a better search functionality for you?

@Greta Galubauskaitė — it would be great if there were more Wix team members here to actually help us when we need to troubleshoot issues. You are great, but you only forward our requests and issues. We need dedicated Wix team members here responding in a timely fashion.
For example, I am having an issue with the functionality of both my forums right now, as well as members who can’t even get in. I’ve paid for premium priority support and emailed, but so far have received not even a “we got your message and someone will get with you soon” type reply back from the support. I consider problems with forum access paramount in urgency, since we are using Wix to build our business and when issues come up, they need to be handled quickly.
Thank you, Robin. It's been a while I ask devs to reply to this forum members. They then prioritise issues / bugs, try to explain the reasons. Regarding registrations issues: there is other department working with that, this is actually not on Forum team, so only the general support team ( support@wix.com) can escalate this issue and hunt down each case: which devices were used / operating systems and similar. I hope they will assist you well!
@Greta Galubauskaitė — “registration” wasn’t the problem for my users, the entire forum would disappear (while everything else non-forum on the page stayed), so it definitely is a forum issue. That said, I did write to support and didn’t even receive an acknowledgement email back. I thought they had all gone on early holiday ... 😄.
... OMG, this forum just disappeared completely!! Thanks heavens I tend to copy everything as I go and was able to come back and finish this comment.
@Greta Galubauskaitė - Similar problem late May. Admins lost all ability to see private subcategories. We thought that everyone had lost access to their private subcategories, but later found out that only admins were restricted. Forum option Dashboard just gave us a blank screen. Admins "magically" received access to private categories again a few days later, but almost 100 subcategories were moved into different main categories and the permissions from those main categories infected each individual private category with 9 additional members permissions (migrated from the main category that the subcategories had "magically" been moved into.
3 weeks later, still screwed, no developer communications. 2nd teir reps continue to promise callback, but no go.

I have seen few update of this forum that make it better than other forum. If admin give facilities of interacting with other users in simple template.
Hi, is there a way to have other interactive tools beyond just commenting? For instance, creating mind maps or posting on a board with virtual post its?

Sorry in advance for my bad English.
I made a visual of a feature that would be excellent for the forum. We do not have the possibility of modifying the post of a user, the ideal would be to be able to add a very visible note above the comment or the post which is concerned. For example to indicate errors, bad information...
Here you can see your post, with a "box" for the information.
It's just an idea. I think that would allow you to "modify" a post without actually modifying the user's text. For example, for us, we often have customers who publish posts about the same type of product bought elsewhere in another store. We allow the opportunity to speak freely about their experience, but it would be really nice to be able to indicate that the product was not purchased from us. 😅
Hey, indeed, this request is kind of common - we've been considering it, however, it might take some time.
P.S. How interesting - with this post I was referring to this particular WIX FORUM COMMUNITY FORUM - what would you, as a community, would like to find here regarding the valuable information, but not in Wix Forum as the app :) However, sharing with us your needs for YOUR forums also very beneficial!

Hi there!
I've been looking in all forums in english and portuguese and I cannot find how to change the date of a post in the forum.
I'm importing a little forum from phpbb and so I would like the older posts to keep their original date because the contents loses meaning if the reader compares to the forum post date.
Is it possible? I did it in the blog component of the site. Now I need to do it in the forum portion of the site.
