I sent this up as a ticket to support, and the answer returned was wildly disheartening. In the following videos, you can see the issue plainly. When you highlight a selection of text and click the link icon, the elements in the popup are not visible. They were working just fine. Then, there was a forum update, and the popups for adding links to any highlighted text have been white ever since.
New Template, new forum test:
In this last video, you'll see that the input field has a blue border and is, thus, visible, but all text elements remain invisible due to being white. After weeks of waiting, the solution I received from "Alexandra" at tech support was to change my default colors. Though valid in terms of a temporary (albeit weak) workaround; this is "not" a real solution. Both my website and my client's website were working perfectly fine. There must have been an update. Three days prior to submitting my ticket, the popup was all white. I checked the issue in Chrome, Firefox, and Microsoft Edge. This issue is there for all browsers. Please understand, however, there was no issue in the beginning. Everything was working wonderfully. That said, we should have to change the default text colors or our websites to make this work. The popup text items, input field, and input text should be independent of our defaults. It's been a month now, and I have no solution, and I have clients waiting. But, seriously. . . How many Wix websites use white text as default? Must be many thousands. It's just crazy to think that those with white text should now have to change to some other color in order to get this "basic" forum functionality item working again. If I used any other color than white, it would just look terrible. Moreover, the light color would not show up well in the text link popup. Why can't the popup simply be black like the popup when I click the three dots next to any post?
