Hello Forum people, We're back with another monthly update! Last month we kept working a lot on performance and optimization and it will remain biggest part of our focus for few months to come. Even though right now focus is not on new functionality we managed to squeeze in a couple of "quality of life" features that we think most of you and your users will find beneficial.
NEW FEATURES:
Follow Category button shown on categories.
Default Post Sorting setting.
Discard pop up for posts and comments.
Updated the categories cards layout. Now shorter and aligned to the left.
Updated the toast to fit better with Forum layout.
Forum is now part of sitemap.
BUG FIXES:
Opening, closing and then opening posts on Wix App resulted in white screen.
General bug fixes and improvements for Wix App cache.
Server side rendering not working for cards layout.
Discarding posts on Wix App made the app freeze.
Post to Forum “Quick Action” on Wix App had no title field.
Hide Pinterest icon on images, when social sharing icons option is unticked.

I absolutely love these updates. Thank you! I'd also like to touch on the performance; there has been massive improvements from what i can see with the performance on the app. It's almost like it doesn't 'feel' like an app anymore, but more embedded into the site's structure. It loads fast and efficient and isn't jumpy. Great work guys and can't wait to see the features that are cooking in the background!
When are they going to add the ability to disable/hide the post count on main category?

One thing: re "Hide Pinterest icon on images, when social sharing icons option is unticked."
The Pinterest "Save" icon STILL shows up. Though, not on the original post image,
but on the images in the forum category FEEDS.
I hope this gets removed soon as well. It's a major GDPR breach (Pinterest is a public share, not private ... and a person's images are considered private information when the person has not shared them publicly).
